It fails because ownership is unclear at the exact moment a decision gets made.
Before Deploying Another Tool, Ask:
- Who owns AI decisions that affect revenue, employment, safety, or compliance?
- Where is the documented review checkpoint?
- Can a human override the system in real time?
- Is the rationale captured at the moment of decision?
If you can’t answer those cleanly, you don’t have an AI strategy.
You have AI activity.
